Carsington Water

Carsington Water is a centre for a variety of outdoor activities and is just 8 miles from our house. There is a sailing club active next door to the Visitor Centre, and it’s a great place for walking and cycling around the reservoir and surrounding villages.
There is also a water sports centre (www.carsingtonwater.com) which is separate to the visitor center run by Severn Trent Water. The Water sports centre is a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) recognised training centre and offers a variety of courses in sailing, canoeing, Stand up paddling and windsurfing.
