Modern home comforts are in the kitchen with Neff double oven, wine fridge, microwave, plate warming drawer, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and an induction hob set in a large marble island cooking and breakfast bar.
The dining area comfortably seats 16 persons for breakfast / dinner. Open the glass doors and you can eat al fresco.

With its spacious open-plan living area, there is plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy the best of family holidays.
The house has gas central heating, fibre broadband, WIFI and the 2 lounges are fitted with HD TV’s, Netflix, cable TV, CD, radio, bluetooth stereo speakers and additional sofa beds.

With 5 upstairs bedrooms , one of which is en suite there is room for the whole family , or for a group of friends looking for a getaway together.
There is a double bedroom on the ground floor with a separate ground floor shower room and toilet.

You are very welcome in our home, we hope that you have an amazing stay, enjoy the house and the beautiful area.
- We want you to have fun, but please can you keep any noise or music to the back of the house and to a minimum after 10.30 pm so that you do not disturb our lovely neighbours.
- Can we ask that you only smoke outside the house.
- Can we ask that any pets stay in the kitchen area.
- When you leave the house please make sure that all the windows and doors are locked.
- If you are at the property on a Tuesday, please can you put the bins out on the road.
- Check-in time is 3PM – 10PM
- No shoes in lounge or upstairs, dogs in kitchen / dining only, not in lounge or upstairs please

Outstanding accommodation
Outstanding accommodation, plenty of space for our group of 13. We really enjoyed spending time in the well equipped outside space thanks to the lovely weather. The views from the back patio are wonderful and the children enjoyed playing on the lawn. The inside is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Plenty of bathrooms and showers which is really helpful with a large group. The manager of the property was very responsive when we did have a couple of questions during our visit. I have already recommended this house to friends

A lovely venue with plenty of space for a multiply family trip to Alton Towers. The host Lisa was very easy to deal with and went the extra mile with an amazing welcome pack. We would happily stay again and will probably look to next year for our annual trip
Absolutely wonderful place
A beautiful, spacious and clean house. Very well equipped kitchen . The large garden great for games on the evenings . Wonderful seating area. The views were breathtaking. Beds very comfy. Plenty of showers, toilets and towels . The local area was amazing and interesting. Absolutely wonderful place. Would love to go back

This house is fantastic for a large group as there is ample living space and very nice bedrooms! The house is very modern with a well fitted kitchen and lovely bathrooms. Nice touches like blankets on the sofas for coziness. Manager met us on arrival and was helpful showing us around. The cleanliness was outstanding. Would absolutely recommend this house without hesitation. Lovely walks from property too.

A perfect setting and a beautiful property. Everything is done to a superb standard, amazing kitchen, fabulous bedrooms and bathrooms, and quality and tasteful decor everywhere. An amazing weekend
We have just had an amazing weekend at Mayfield View. The house is beautiful, with great views and modern, stylish decor and furnishings. We arrived to a lovely welcome hamper full of goodies. Communication before our trip was brilliant which was reassuring after we had been let down last minute by our original accomodation booking only 6 weeks before our trip. However, I truly believe everything happens for a reason and we were meant to stay at Mayfield.
Perfect for groups
The house was beautiful and spacious even for 15 adults. Lovely surroundings in a convenient location to explore the peak district. The house feels secluded without being so and is a 5 minutes walk from the centre of the village. Perfect for groups with the patio/ kitchen area being a highlight. Thanks to Lisa for letting us stay and to Terri for looking after us if we needed anything

Fabulous house to spend our family weekend
Lisa’s house Mayfield View was a fabulous house to spend our family weekend celebrating a special birthday. As the weather was great we enjoyed the outdoor facilities- seating, barbecue and the games we took with us. Beds very comfortable, numerous showers, toiletries, towels and hairdryers provided. Lisa responded very quickly when emailed any questions and Terri communicated to check all was going well with our weekend. Would definitely consider… booking again when require a large house.
Nothing I could fault about the house
We just returned from an amazing stay at Mayfield view. We had been communicating with Lisa before our stay and she was great and speedy at replying back to our messages. The house is beautifully done up and is based in a quiet and scenic area with great views! There were some shops and pubs a few minutes drive away and also not too far from some great Peak District walks. There’s nothing I could fault about the house – it’s done up like my perfect… dream home! The living spaces were nice and spacious, there was about 16 of us staying and we didn’t at any point feel cramped. The master bedroom also had an amazing jacuzzi bath which we all loved! There were some thoughtful little touches like a complimentary basket of goodies on arrival with tea, bread, cake etc and some milk in the fridge too! We met Terri on arrival who was lovely and gave us a tour and explained how everything worked – she made us feel really welcome. I could honestly not fault anything about our stay and would definitely return again soon! Thanks all for being such great hosts.”

A fully equipped house to cater to our needs, it has a great indoor/outdoor flow for entertaining with a big group. Close by car to the main amenities in Ashbourne or within a short walk to a pub for a meal. We’ll have to visit again and explore the rest of the Peaks sometime soon!”
